Daytona Day 1

We left EARLY (3:45 a.m.) this morning and headed out on our journey. Our first stop is Daytona Beach, Florida. We will be here until Sunday. Some friends of ours are coming in tonight. We got here around lunch time. Our hotel is great. We have an AMAZING view. We were also delightfully surprised to find out that our room has a kitchen complete with full-size fridge, sink, stove top, and dishes. We decided rather than finding something to eat we would just eat some of the stuff that we had brought with us. After lunch there was quite the rain storm. After it passed we put the girls in their bathing suits and headed to the beach. They had so much fun. After the beach Daniel and I got changed into our suits and the four of us enjoyed the pool for a while. We decided to venture out for dinner and see what we could see. We spotted some cool putt-putt courses so I am sure we will end up there one day this week. We ate dinner at a place called The Charlie Horse. The girls both ate well. We followed dinner up with some ice cream at a place called Cow Lick. I would say we had an awesome first day. Enjoy the pictures. Packed and ready to go!
