Back from the brink of death...
I can honestly say that the past week involved me being sicker than I can ever remember being. It began simple enough. I woke up Wednesday morning (Daniel was at work). I had a slight headache, but thought nothing of it. The girls I had were scheduled to get our haircut, I needed to check on the parents animals and I had class in the afternoon. It was to be a busy day. Well after the girls got me up early I preceeded to pass back out on the couch. Now, while this might not be most unusual for me to drift off, I don't generally fall completely back asleep. I did Wednesday morning and awoke to a living room full of dress up clothes and pocket books. After my nap my head was worse, my throat was on fire and my stomach was not happy. The girls and I showered and went to get our haircut at 11. After the haircuts we stopped by to see hubby at work to show off our new dos and for me to get a little sympathy for the way that my body was feeling. By this point my stomach had made it clear how it was feeling and my head was about to explode. I went from there to the parents house and on the way back into town when I realized I had the heater on in 100 degree weather and I was shivering I decided that class was not going to be an option that afternoon. When we made it home I was miserable, but grateful that we had made it home. As I managed the girls into the house I decided to call husband again and immediatly broke down into tears. I was not a happy camper and all he had to do was say hello and I fell apart. Lucikly he is a good husband and immediatly left work to come home and take over with the girls for me. I went to bed at 2:30 and didn't fully wake up until about 11:30 a.m. the next day (Lots of sleep, and lots of body pain from being in the bed that long). Thursday was not much better, pretty much more of the same. Friday was better but still I wasn't at full speed. A simple trip to Wal-Mart wiped me out for the day. It might possibly be that the first thing I ate and kept down was Friday night at about 7:30. I say all of this to say that I truly have a wonderful husband. He took care of me, checking on me, letting me know it would be okay and taking full care of the girls and never once did he make me feel guilty or like I needed to hurry up and get better. He brought me tylenol when I was freezing and wet my wash cloth when I was sweating. He really is a great husband. I hit the jackpot and so did my girls. I can honestly say that I would not wish this virus/illness/whatever it was on my worst enemy...it was quite simply the pits. But on the bright side I was once again reminded how lucky I am in the relationship department.

Yuck. Sorry to hear about that. I would have taken the girls if I was closer. Good job Dan!
I hope you are feeling better now.
